Single Sign On or SSO is now part of SQBX

broke new ground with their latest project. We are now offering
Single Sign On or SSO as part of our SQBX suite of tracking products.
Many organization are requiring that multiple business applications
have the same sign on credentials to help reduce the number of user
names and passwords required for authentication. We have integrated
the Shibboleth platform to accomplish SSO inside of SQBX. Shibboleth
is deployed by many universities.

Does your team stop everything when a package is missing?

Many organizations we have worked with experience times of panic when an important item needs to be located. The recipient is calling because UPS shows his/her package as delivered but he does not have it on his desk.

Often the culprit is not the receiving and delivering team but the item gets misplaced after delivery to the department. After several phone calls, checking with delivery team members and finally digging out paper delivery logs you are able to advise the recipient, “Yes it was delivered on XYZ date”. What is Important in system selection?

There are many package tracking systems on the market and it may be hard to differentiate them.  It is important to ask yourself,  what is most important to my organization.  Is it security of the data, accountability of the package or item, or ease of use, support and installation.  The task can be daunting a quite time consuming.  Here are a couple of things that we recommend you consider when making a purchasing decision regarding a package tracking system.  

  1. How and where will my data be stored?  Will it be encrypted? How frequently will the data be backed up?  Where will the backed up data be stored?
  2. How long does a typical installation take?  Will you need to tie up our terminals to do the installation.  What involvement will be required by our IT department?
  3. How will training be presented?  Is it a single training session or will the training be ongoing?  What happens if we have turn over?  Will there be extra charges to train new employees down the road?
